Blood Chemistry is considered the gold standard of healthcare and is a common language across all health professions. In contrast to conventional medicine, Functional Blood Chemistry interprets blood lab results from a preventative stand point by using narrower ranges and earlier indicators of serious medical conditions that would otherwise go undetected. This seminar is focused on building the ability to interpret and prioritize lab findings. Corresponding nutritional and herbal therapies to support and restore balanced chemistry will be discussed.

Ronda L. Nelson, PhD, MH

Redding, CA-based Ronda Nelson, holds a PhD in Wholistic Nutrition and is a Master Herbalist. Her clinical emphasis is aimed at uncovering and addressing the underlying cause of dysfunction rather than addressing only the symptoms. She works primarily on endocrine-related issues for both men and women as well as digestion and children’s health concerns. Dr. Nelson is well versed in saliva testing, hair mineral analysis, and functional interpretation of blood panels. A dynamic presenter, Dr. Nelson teaches continuing education seminars 25 weekends each year and consults with practitioners all across the globe who are interested in improving and enhancing their own clinical skills.
